Our coffee is sourced from some of the best coffee beans from around the world often direct from the plantations themselves. Coffee is sourced with careful consideration of the social, environmental and economic impact that coffee-growing has on the local communities, ensuring that producers receive a fair price, working conditions are acceptable, and the business is sustainable.

Our coffee is roasted on a weekly basis, so that our customers receive freshly roasted coffee. Roasting is a science and an art and our coffee is roasted by professionals with years of experience.
A good espresso coffee blend should produce a cup of coffee, that is balanced, has body, not be bitter or too strong. It should possess sweetness and have a great lasting crema on top. We have three distinctive espresso blends, which deliver different taste profiles for the most discerning coffee drinkers.
It is important to roast espresso slowly. This helps develop the flavour and drum roasting machines are used to get this just right.
We have developed our coffees with different coffee makers in mind and our espresso blends work with both traditional espresso machines and home automatic bean to cup machines.
Where possible we ensure our coffee carries a recognised ethical certification or is working towards one. Our House Espresso is triple certified the highest ethical standard.
While coffees without certification don’t always mean poor practice, without them it is easy to say it is ethically sourced when this is not the reality. Certification is not always perfect, however, we strongly believe it is an essential part of the ethical audit process.
Here are the certifications used in our coffee. Click on the logo to visit their websites and to find out more about the certification and some of the projects supported.
